Bounty Beach is where the majority of resorts and dive centers are located. In 2008, a survey by telegraph.co.uk chose Bounty Beach as Philippines Best Beach. It has outdone Boracay, the Philippines’ most famous beach and one of Asia’s and world’s best beaches. Malapascua’s powder white sand, clear water and laid back atmosphere makes it look like Boracay fifteen years ago. That makes this beach a haven for those who seek tranquility. Many tourists come to the island to relax, swim, and bask under the sun. (Source)
I found this scene funny, with all the men fully covered in black, making them look like bank robbers. I have no idea why though, maybe they’re just trying to protect themselves from the hot sun.
There is a walking track in between the water and the resorts. I actually took my slippers off every time I walked here to prevent slipper marks on my feet, hot as it was. I do not recommend doing this though as the path can be pebbly at times.
The beach is great. I had liked swimming here too. It was really really hot when I was there!
